Orthodontics

Living with crooked teeth—especially for adults—can be a major source of annoyance, and even, at times, embarrassment. At the same time, the prospect of facing unsightly silver braces for a couple of years often seems little better. At Uptown Park Dental, we offer recessive, fast-moving orthodontic options to help you achieve the straight smile of your dreams in a short amount of time.

Invisalign

Invisalign uses a progressive series of clear trays to move teeth into place over a period of months, and usually takes a year or less. The trays, like the name suggests, are nearly invisible, so they won’t interfere with your appearance. Best of all, they can be removed to eat, brush, and floss, making it a breeze to continue your usual dental hygiene routine.

During your initial visit, we will determine whether you’re a candidate for Invisalign. If so, we’ll take impressions of your teeth and send them to Invisalign, where, using advanced 3-D computer imaging technology, a series of customized, clear trays will be prepared that will move your teeth into place.

Each set of trays will be worn day and night for about two weeks, and you’ll visit our office at regular intervals to check your progress and pick up new trays. Before you know it, your treatment will be done—and you’ll have the beautiful, straight smile you deserve.

Call us to schedule your free initial consultation and we'll give you a free teeth cleaning and whitening when you start treatment. We look forward to hearing from you!

Six-Month Smiles

In addition to Invisalign, we also offer Six-Month Smiles, a fast-moving approach to straightening that’s also extremely recessive, and is often an option when Invisalign is not.

Like traditional orthodontics, Six-Month Smiles uses traditional brackets and wires to straighten your teeth. Unlike traditional orthodontics, however, both the brackets and the wires are tooth-colored, so they’re barely noticeable.

Best of all, they’re fast, and in most cases, like the name suggests, treatment is complete in six months. Give us a call to make an appointment, and we’ll help you evaluate whether Six-Month Smiles is an option—and whether you’re just half a year away from a new smile.
