Veneers

Imagine getting contact lenses for your teeth: something that completely changes their appearance, feels totally natural, and corrects any flaws. In essence, that’s what porcelain veneers are—wafer-thin casings of ceramic bonded to your teeth, requiring the removal of little to no tooth structure to give you the whole new smile of your dreams.

Veneers can correct any number of cosmetic flaws. They can be placed on teeth that appear too large or small; that are discolored, misshapen, cracked, crooked, or uneven; or that simply are not cosmetically pleasing to the patient.

When preparing and placing porcelain veneers—whether just a single veneer or a whole set—we pay close attention to surrounding teeth and facial structure, and craft a design that harmonizes with each patient’s overall appearance. The result is a beautiful, attractive new smile.

We use only the highest quality porcelain in our veneers. With proper care—nothing more than regular semi-annual cleanings and checkups, and usual brushing and flossing—veneers can last well over a decade.

Procedure

After deciding upon the design of your veneers, it typically takes only two appointments to place them. At the first, we’ll prepare your teeth by lightly buffing them, after which we’ll take impressions. While your new veneers are being created, we will provide you with an aesthetic temporary restoration, so you can continue your daily life without worrying about missing or incompatible teeth.

During your second visit, we will place and bond your new veneers—which should feel exactly like natural teeth—leaving you with a beautifully restored smile.
